From The Director

At nVision, the R&D wing of Narayana Netralaya Foundation (NNF), our research is rooted in a large and diverse patient base, enabling biomedical work focused on early diagnosis, prevention, and therapy.

GROW (Genes, Repair, and Regeneration in Ophthalmic Workstation) Research Laboratory translates scientific discoveries into clinical practice, aiming to establish NNF as a centre of excellence in both basic and translational ophthalmic research.

Focused on major ophthalmic diseases, GROW integrates patient-derived data with molecular and genetic insights to address critical biomedical questions. Our work spans from basic science to preclinical models, driving the development of gene- and stem cell-based therapies, diagnostic biomarkers, and future clinical trial platforms.
